Jessica do vallé , Brazilian football player

Qatar Women’s Sports Committee hosted a joint initiative between Qatar Airways and the Save the Dream program of the International Center for Sport Security to empower girls through sport and with the participation of the Brazilian star of the Federation of street children, Jessica de Valle.

The player participated in the friendly football organized by the Committee on the outdoor grass stadium at its headquarters and with the participation of the Qatari Women’s team and El Saad Academy players , before the game a seminar at the Committee where talked about her experience in football and the stages that passed until she became a star in her country.

She expressed her pleasure to participate in this initiative launched by Qatar Airways and “Save the Dream”, and provided a profile of her life

Jessica is a 16-year-old girl from Favela in Rio de Janeiro who is currently involved in an awareness project with Qatar Airways and saved the dream about women in sports and is linked to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019.

The initiative aimed to give girls in Qatar and the world an opportunity to learn from the experience gained by other girls living in other contexts and countries and their achievements in life and education through sport and to make them a means of change and coping with difficulties.  It is also an opportunity to learn from Jessica’s experience about the impact of sport, and in this case, football is changing the lives and lives of other girls from the favelas where they live.

This initiative comes as part of the various activities undertaken by various sectors of the State to promote the Qatar 2022 World Cup and promote and promote women’s football.


Jessica participated in the official opening of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France. Qatar Airways supported many interesting events before the opening whistle. The opening ceremony was attended by the Brazilian player Jessica, who made her journey from Favila in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to the French capital.  Paris is an impressive story from poverty to extreme passion for football and making it a means to change and face difficulties. The Brazilian was able to attend the opening match of the tournament.
